Portuguese voters head to the polls on Sunday for the first round of a presidential election were the far-right, the leading opposition force in the Iberian country, may reach a new milestone by placing its candidate in the second round. According to polls, André Ventura, president of the far-right party Chega (“Enough”), could come first in this election, but the 43-year-old deputy would have little chance of winning in the second round, scheduled for february 8.
