This acquisition directly addresses a need within the Wolverines’ tight end room following recent departures and promises to inject significant talent into the passing game.
A Rising Star Joins the Wolverines
Buchanan arrives in Ann Arbor after a standout freshman season with the Utah Utes.The 6-foot-4, 208-pound Nevada native quickly became a reliable target in the Utes’ offense, finishing third on the team in receptions (26), receiving yards (425), and touchdowns (five). Remarkably, Buchanan led all freshmen tight ends nationally in receiving yardage, averaging an extraordinary 16.4 yards per catch.
