Kid Cudi is adding another title to his already impressive list: painter. The artist recently announced an art exhibition in Paris,France.

When cudi paints, he goes by Scotty Ramon – his birth name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi. “Echoes of the Past,” will be on display from January 31st to March 1st at Ruttkowski;68 in Paris.

Ramon always dreamed of being a cartoonist as a child. He revisited visual art just over a year ago, creating his first painting. That’s when he began painting while together working on his album, Free, released in August.He even shared one of his paintings as the cover art for his memoir, “Cudi: The Memoir,” announced in May 2025. Shortly after the album’s release, he announced he’d be taking a break from making new music for “a while.”

The exhibition won’t just be visual. Cudi composed a score to accompany the artwork, described as “atmospheric and electric” with “propulsive synths.”

Ten original paintings will be on display, according to Hypebeast. Several pieces feature a character named “Max,” an alter ego representing the same themes of introspection, mental health, and resilience found in his music.

An opening reception for “Echoes of the Past” will be held on January 30th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
