Golden Globes 2026: Nikki Glaser Hosts, Top Nominations & New Podcast Category

The 83rd annual Golden Globes awards ceremony takes place Sunday night.

nikki Glaser returns as host,broadcasting live on CBS from 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. (Learn how to stream the show hear.)

Glaser recently shared with The Hollywood Reporter that she only watched last year’s show, which she also hosted, a few days ago. She believes she set a high standard for herself this year.“I kind of nailed it,” she said. “And it scares me, because that was kind of lightning in a bottle. I got really lucky with some of the nominees.Everything worked out.So it’s a high bar. I’m kind of screwed.”

One Battle After Another leads the nominations with nine nods,including best picture,director,and screenwriter. Sentimental Value received eight nominations, followed by Sinners with seven, Hamnet with six, and Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good with five each. (See the full list of nominations here.)

In television, The white lotus tops the nominations with six, while Adolescence earned five, and Only Murders in the Building and Severance each received four.

Dick Clark Productions assembled a star-studded presenter lineup for Sunday’s show, including Amanda Seyfried, Ana de Armas, Ayo Edebiri, Charli xcx, Chris Pine, Colman Domingo, Connor Storrie, Dakota Fanning, Dave Franco, diane Lane, George Clooney, Hailee Steinfeld, Hudson Williams, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, joe Keery, Judd Apatow, Julia Roberts, Justin Hartley, Kathryn hahn, and Keegan-Michael Key. Additional presenters include Kevin Bacon, Kevin Hart, Kyra Sedgwick, Lalisa Manobal, Luke Grimes, Macaulay Culkin, Marlon Wayans, Melissa McCarthy, mila Kunis, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Driver, Orlando Bloom, Pamela Anderson, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Sean Hayes, Snoop Dogg, Wanda Sykes, Will Arnett, and Zoë Kravitz.

Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment return as executive producing showrunners for the 2026 Golden Globes. Dick clark Productions plans, hosts, and produces the event, which reaches audiences in over 185 countries and territories worldwide.

This year, the Golden Globes introduced a new category: best podcast. Nominees include Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang With Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast, SmartLess, and NPR’s Up First.

“There are so many podcasts out there, I think it’s really appropriate, actually, to open up that category,” Weiss told THR. “People are getting their content and their entertainment in many different forms.”
