SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College men’s tennis team will open its 2026 spring season on the road against Georgia Tech on January 19, head coach Rod Ray announced today. The 19-match schedule features 11 home contests at the Reeves Tennis Center.
The Terriers‘ 2026 campaign balances a challenging non-conference slate with a competitive Southern Conference schedule, culminating in the SoCon Tournament hosted by Chattanooga April 16-18. This season marks a key prospect for wofford to build on last year’s performance, returning eight players and integrating a talented mix of freshmen and a transfer student.
Wofford’s non-conference matchups include trips to California to face UC San diego and Point Loma, as well as contests against the College of Charleston and Davidson. The Southern Conference portion of the schedule begins February 9 with a home match against The Citadel.
The team’s roster includes senior Ian Rasheed, and juniors Daniel clivio, Jack Deveney, Owen Dooley, and Hugo Rask. Sophomores Jack Burdell, Jacob Raider, and Ben Reinauer return, joined by incoming freshmen Julian Brager-Carlsen and Valdemar Dubin, and transfer parker Mariencheck. Senior Day is scheduled for April 13 against King.
