Jacksonville Baseball Announces Challenging 2026 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, FL ‍- Jacksonville University‍ baseball⁣ unveiled⁣ its full ​2026 schedule Friday, featuring a demanding slate of home and away games designed to test​ the Dolphins as they prepare for ASUN ‌Conference play. The ⁣season is‌ set to‍ begin ⁤at John Sessions‌ Stadium with a four-game series against ​Rhode island, February 13-15, including‌ a ⁣doubleheader on​ February ​14.

Jacksonville’s non-conference schedule ⁢includes a February⁢ 17th contest against Florida State and a three-game home series versus Long Island‍ University,‍ February ⁢20-22. Following a February 24th ‍home game ‌against⁢ UCF, the Dolphins⁤ will travel⁤ for a three-game series at UAB (February 27-March 1) and a midweek game at Florida State on March⁤ 3.

March ‌sees Jacksonville hosting UNC-Wilmington (March ⁣6-8) and​ South Florida‍ (March⁤ 9) before⁣ beginning ASUN competition on the road against West Georgia (March 13-15).⁢ Another‍ midweek matchup with South Florida is scheduled for March ​17‌ in Tampa, ​followed ⁣by an ASUN series at Queens⁢ (March 20-22). The Dolphins return⁤ home‌ to face Bethune-Cookman on March 24 and then host the annual River city Rumble against north ⁣Florida (March⁣ 27-29). The month‍ concludes with a ​road game ‌at the University of florida on March 31.

April begins ⁣with a ⁣home ⁢ASUN series ⁢against Stetson (April 2-4). Jacksonville then travels to Florida ⁣Gulf Coast (April 10-12) and UCF (April 14) ⁤before ‍hosting West georgia (April ⁤17-19). The Dolphins ⁣finish the‍ month with a road game at Florida (April 21) and ‌a home series against Queens (April 24-26).

May opens with a road series at North Florida (May 1-3) and ‍a trip⁢ to Tallahassee to play Florida State on May​ 5. Jacksonville’s final⁣ regular ​season road series‌ is at Stetson (May 8-10), leading into‍ the final home games against Florida gulf Coast (May 14-16).

Postseason play begins with the ASUN Tournament, May 19-24, ‍in DeLand, ‍Florida. NCAA Regional play is scheduled for may ‍29-June 1, with NCAA Super Regionals from June 5-7. The 2026 College World Series will be held in Omaha, nebraska, from June 12-22.
