fort Collins, colo. – Colorado State ⁤University head football coach Jay Norvell has announced⁤ the‌ addition of⁢ 11 student-athletes in his first signing ‍class, solidifying the program’s ‌initial steps toward rebuilding under his leadership. The class includes players ⁤from eight different states, addressing needs across multiple positions.

This inaugural class ⁢arrives as ⁣Norvell ⁣aims to revitalize a Rams program⁤ that finished 3-9 overall‌ and 2-6 in ‌Mountain‌ West Conference play in 2022. The incoming ​group represents a foundational component of‍ Norvell’s vision, signaling a commitment to‍ recruiting geographically⁢ and prioritizing both immediate impact players and long-term developmental prospects.

Offensive ‍line⁢ support arrives with​ Packs Ahovelo (6-5, 352, Waimanalo, Hawaii/kailua) and Max Vivier (6-5, 280, Hagerstown, Md./Saint James School). ⁣On‌ the defensive ‍side, the Rams added depth with linebacker Mickey Williams (6-3, 220, San Francisco, Calif./Sacred‌ Heart Cathedral Prep) and ⁣defensive linemen TaVeon Robinson (6-5, 308, Olathe, kans./Hutchinson ​Community College) and Desman manuel (6-0, 295, cedar Hill, Texas/Cedar Hill).
