Levski is targeting Spartak Varna striker Shande in a potential transfer, aiming to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season. The Sofia-based club is reportedly in negotiations with Spartak Varna regarding the 250,000 euro-valued player.
The move comes as Levski manager Julio Velazquez seeks to add a dynamic, mobile forward to complement current top scorer Mustafa Sangare, who has netted 8 goals for the Blues, three of which were penalties. While Sangare leads the team in goals, the coaching staff believes additional firepower is needed to consistently find the back of the net.
Shande’s versatility is a key factor in Levski’s interest, as he is capable of playing both as a striker and a winger. This adaptability would provide Velazquez with tactical versatility in various attacking formations.
The pursuit of Shande appears to have led Levski to abandon their interest in another Spartak varna player, bernardo Couto. Couto was previously considered a potential signing, but will now continue his career with CSKA 1948.
Levski will attempt to negotiate a lower transfer fee than the 250,000 euro valuation for Shande, seeking more favorable terms with Spartak Varna, who are reportedly open to offers to generate funds.
