Claudio Castagnoli & Kyle Fletcher Lead Leagues After Week Two of AEW Continental Classic
Orlando, FL – December 3, 2025 – The AEW Continental Classic continued to take shape on “AEW Dynamite” as the second set of tournament matches delivered hard-hitting action and shifted the leaderboard in both the Gold and Blue Leagues.
In a highly anticipated Blue League clash, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Jon Moxley in their first-ever singles encounter in AEW. Despite a valiant effort from Moxley, who sustained a significant cut after being sent into the crowd, Castagnoli secured the win wiht a Running Uppercut. Castagnoli now leads the blue League with six points,following a previous win over Orange Cassidy. Moxley previously earned three points with a victory over mascara Dorada. Both competitors will continue league play this Saturday on “AEW Collision,” with Moxley facing Konosuke Takeshita and Castagnoli battling Mascara Dorada.
The gold League saw a major upset as AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada defeated PAC. PAC, coming off a win against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, attempted to secure his second victory but was ultimately pinned by Okada using a Crucifix pin. Okada’s win marked his first in the tournament after a prior loss to Kyle Fletcher.
“Dynamite” concluded with Kyle Fletcher maintaining his position atop the Gold League. Fletcher defeated Kevin Knight after countering Knight’s UFO Splash with stiff kicks and a Brainbuster.Fletcher’s record now stands at six points, building on his opening-round victory over Okada. Knight had previously defeated Darby Allin,sending Darby to the hospital.
