Leevon PPK Football Club Raises ⁣Funds for‍ Children’s Hospital

The Leevon PPK ⁢football club recently completed a accomplished charity campaign, donating more than €7,000 to ⁢the children’s Hospital Foundation. The initiative, a long-held ambition stemming back to the club’s roots as “Leevon Saldus” and later considered by FK PPK, aimed to support the health and development ‍of children.

Driven by the club’s motto,”Inspire to improve,” the campaign initially⁢ set a goal of raising €50 for each player. While⁣ the team reached 49 individual goals,‌ overwhelming support from the local community‍ and ​fans pushed the total donation significantly higher.

Sport is more than just a game; it can ‌teach a lot,” said Maris Landmanis, co-founder and head coach of Leevon and the driving force behind the campaign. “We believe ⁣in playing for something‌ bigger⁤ – inspiring our future by supporting children’s health. we hope to continue this type of initiative in future seasons.”

Edgar Anderson added his gratitude, thanking the staff of the Children’s Hospital and the‍ Children’s Hospital⁣ Foundation for their collaboration and support in making the campaign⁢ possible.

Liene Dambiņa, head of the ⁢Children’s Hospital Foundation, expressed her delight at the partnership. “This was the first charity‌ campaign of its kind for our foundation, and we sincerely appreciate the creative approach and generosity of Leevon ⁣PPK and Celinieks 01. We’ve gained not only critically important financial support for the hospital,‌ but also a new community of friends dedicated to improving children’s health.”

The successful campaign marks a significant step for Leevon PPK in demonstrating its commitment to social duty‌ and inspiring positive change within the community.
