Tom Stoppard,​ the⁢ celebrated playwright renowned for his intellectually ⁢stimulating and witty works, has ​died peacefully at his home in Dorset, England, surrounded ‌by family. He was 86 ‍years‍ old. The news was announced by talent agency United Agents, marking the end of a ‌six-decade career that profoundly ​impacted theater, film, ‍television, and radio.
