Residents of Fargues-sur-Ourbise will have the prospect to review and comment on proposed modifications to the local urban planning plan (PLU). Simplified modification No. 1 aims to streamline the establishment of new industrial activity within the municipality. Relevant documentation will be available for public inspection at the Fargues town hall and the headquarters of the community of communes, beginning Tuesday, December 9th, at 9:00 AM and continuing until Friday, january 9th, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Casteljaloux to Benefit from Intergenerational Residence & Road Improvements
In Casteljaloux,plans are progressing for a new intergenerational residence located on Route de Leyritz. President Raymond Girardi informed the council that the project necessitates road improvements to ensure public safety. An urban partnership project agreement is slated to be finalized wiht “Les Résidences Silver,” the project developer.
The agreement,valued at €134,681 (including tax),outlines a collaborative effort between the CCCLG,the municipality of Casteljaloux,and les Résidences Silver. specifically, the project includes widening municipal road No. 3 by 520 meters and constructing a 1.40-meter-wide pedestrian path alongside the same stretch of roadway. This investment aims to enhance accessibility and safety for both residents and visitors.

In other news,Raymond Girardi has been appointed as the CCCLG’s elected representative to the supervisory board of the local Casteljaloux hospital,a position renewed every five years.
