ARC Raiders Experiences Widespread Outage, Disrupting Players
Players of the free-to-play cooperative third-person shooter ARC Raiders, developed by Embark Studios, are currently experiencing widespread issues preventing access to the game. Reports of outages began surfacing Tuesday, and as of Wednesday morning, thousands of players continue to report being unable to log in.
The outage impacts a critically important player base eager to engage with the recently launched title, which entered early access on September 26, 2023. Embark Studios has acknowledged the problem, stating via X (formerly twitter), “We’re aware of players being unable to login to ARC Raiders. Our team is investigating the issue and we’ll follow up once the issue has been resolved.” Downdetector reports over 4,000 users have registered complaints regarding the gameS accessibility. Players have taken to social media to express their frustration, with one user asking, “when is it going to be back up anybody know.” As of this writing, no estimated time for resolution has been provided.
