Best Buy and Amazon are currently offering the Apple AirPods max with a USB-C port for $449,a $150 reduction from their original price-marking the lowest price to date for the updated model. The deal, reported as of November 27, applies to all five colors at Best Buy, though Amazon is currently sold out of the orange colorway.
The AirPods Max are widely regarded for their exceptional audio quality. WIRED’s Parker Hall, in his initial review, described them as “the best-sounding wireless headphones [he’s] ever heard, and by a important margin,” even when compared to leading headphones from Bose and Sony. They boast an impressively open soundstage and effective active noise canceling with a clear pass-through mode.
Beyond sound, the AirPods Max offer seamless integration within the Apple ecosystem. They connect instantly to iPhones and iPads with simple proximity, leveraging a low-power state for continuous availability.
