Riyadh – Cristiano Ronaldo delivered a moment of magic with a stunning bicycle kick in stoppage time, sealing a 4-1 victory for Al-Nassr over Al-Khaleej at Al-Awwal park on Sunday. The goal capped off al-Nassr’s ninth consecutive win to begin the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season, solidifying their position at the league’s summit.
The match saw Al-Nassr take control early, with Joao Felix opening the scoring in the 39th minute after having an earlier goal disallowed for a handball. Felix capitalized on a cross from Angelo, converting with a deft touch. Wesley quickly doubled the advantage just three minutes later, benefiting from Felix’s pressing to find space in the Al-Khaleej box.
Al-Khaleej responded after the break, narrowing the deficit with a well-struck goal from Murad Al Hawsawi in the 47th minute. They then applied pressure, forcing Al-Nassr goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi to make several key saves.
However, Al-nassr regained their two-goal cushion in the 77th minute through Sadio Mane, who scored with a beautifully lobbed curler. The final nail in the coffin came deep into added time, as a cross from Nawaj Boushal found Ronaldo perfectly positioned to execute his breathtaking bicycle kick, securing the 4-1 result.
