Body Found in Impounded tesla Identified as Teen Musician, Death ‍Inquiry Ongoing

The⁤ body discovered inside ‍an impounded Tesla in the Hollywood Hills has been identified ‍as 18-year-old Liliana “Lily” Rivas, ‍authorities confirmed to Rolling Stone. The cause​ of death remains⁢ unknown, ​and⁤ an ‌investigation ‌is underway. ‍The revelation has intensified scrutiny surrounding musician D4VD (Noah Burke),⁢ with whom Rivas ​reportedly had a relationship.

The case began with a seemingly⁣ abandoned Tesla, observed by⁢ residents of the ‍affluent Bird Streets neighborhood as ⁢early as May. The vehicle ‌sat for at ​least​ three weeks before being towed. Following ⁤the identification of rivas,law enforcement searched a nearby residence on Doheny Place,rented as Febuary 2024 to⁣ Josh Marshall,Burke’s manager. The unfolding investigation has prompted the cancellation ⁣of Burke’s tour and the suspension ‌of brand partnerships with ‍Crocs and Hollister.

TMZ previously ⁢reported that Rivas had‍ a “boyfriend” named David, referencing Burke, and social media has circulated photos and videos ⁤appearing ‍to show Rivas and Burke ‍together.

The impounded ‌tesla was‍ towed⁢ from the ⁢Bird Streets, an ⁣area known for its secluded and expensive properties. ​Neighbors had noted the vehicle’s presence in the neighborhood for ⁤months prior to‍ its removal. ​

Burke, 20, has not publicly commented‌ on Rivas’ death. ⁢He performed a scheduled show in Minneapolis the day after the remains were found, but later canceled the remainder of his ‌tour.⁣ Both Crocs and Hollister have ‌paused campaigns featuring Burke⁤ in the wake of the news.
