HOBART, TASMANIA – Animal Emergency Australia (AEA), Australia’s largest employee-owned veterinary group, is actively recruiting passionate Emergency Veterinarians for its premier facility, AES Hobart. The hospital provides advanced emergency and critical care to pets and is seeking to expand its experienced team.
AES Hobart is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers both on-the-job and external training to support veterinarians in delivering exceptional care. Accomplished candidates will collaborate with a skilled team including vet nurses, specialist-trained client care representatives, and a supportive leadership group.
AEA is seeking veterinarians with:
* 3+ years post-graduate experience, with 1-2 years in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) preferred, though all applicants will be considered.
* Solid ECC foundational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of emergency cases.
* A Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) recognized in Australia.
* Current or eligible registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board in Australia.
* Strong communication,client management,and collaborative skills.
* A commitment to patient-first medicine and a genuine passion for emergency and critical care.

* A salary ranging from $108,000 – $156,000 full-time equivalent (dependent on experience) plus superannuation and a 17.5% leave loading.
