Colorado State University Unveils Trio of Admitted Student events for Prospective Rams
FORT COLLINS, CO – Colorado State University today detailed its comprehensive schedule of Admitted Student Events, offering prospective students and their families multiple pathways to experience campus life and academic opportunities this spring. The university is hosting three distinct event formats – a large-scale festivity, a major-specific deep dive, and a focused campus visit - designed to cater to diverse preferences and schedules.
These events are crucial for admitted students as they navigate their college decision,providing firsthand insights into CSU’s academic departments,student life,and campus resources. the university aims to provide a personalized experience, helping students envision themselves as part of the Ram community.Events will take place between February and April, offering flexibility for students finalizing their plans.
Event Details:
Ram Pride Day (Column 2): Scheduled for February 7, this high-energy event welcomes several thousand guests for a full CSU experience. Running from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Ram Pride Day features academic college-specific sessions, a resource fair, and breakout sessions covering topics like clubs, the recreation center, and leadership opportunities. Attendees can participate in a campus tour, enjoy “Ram vibes” activities, meet CAM the Ram, and play RamGo for prizes. Breakout sessions will also cover housing and financial aid, with dedicated sessions for residents and nonresidents.
Major-specific Days (Column 3): offered on select days between February and April, these events cater to students seeking an in-depth exploration of their intended major. Limited to approximately 100-200 guests, these days run from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM and include deep dives into academic information, facility tours, and opportunities to meet with faculty and students. Housing staff will be available at a resource fair, and an afternoon presentation will cover financial aid. Optional campus tours conclude the day.
Friday focus Visits (Column 4): Available on select Fridays from January through April, these two-hour visits provide a speedy, focused introduction to CSU. Designed for approximately 120 guests,these events offer a general overview of the university,insights from student tour guides,and a campus tour. A presentation will include general financial aid information and deadlines. Student experiences will be shared by tour guides, and attendees will view a residence hall.
