Brennan Earns NCAA Standard On Day ⁢One Of SMU Invite

DALLAS – SMU swimmer Jack Moore achieved an NCAA standard in the‍ 500 Free on Wednesday,‍ November 19, clocking a time of 6:22.49 at the SMU Invite held at ​the Lee and Penny simmons Aquatic Center. The⁤ Mustangs continued competition with an exhibition ⁣relay featuring​ Andy Baklanov, Harold Lockhart, Leonardo Pelaez, and Ben longeway, who ‍finished in ⁢6:24.43.

The SMU Invite serves as⁢ a crucial early-season test for the Mustangs, providing an chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships.Achieving the NCAA standard, as Moore did, is a significant step toward securing ⁢a place at the national meet. Competition‍ continues through Saturday, November ⁣22,‌ with preliminary heats beginning ‌at⁣ 10 a.m. ‌and finals at 5 p.m.(with Saturday⁢ finals at 2:30 p.m.).

Saturday, November 22:
Prelims (10 a.m.): 200 IM,100 Free,200 Fly,200 ⁢Back
Finals (2:30 p.m.): Platform‌ Diving, 1650 Free, 200 IM, 100 Free, 200 Fly, 200 ‍Back, 400 Free Relay
