Potential Blood Evidence Found in Vehicle Linked to Eber Estremador Disappearance
Puerto Madryn, Argentina – Investigators have recovered a vehicle believed to be connected to the 2022 disappearance of Eber “Chucky” Estremador and have found potential evidence of blood inside, according to prosecutor Eugenia Vottero.
The vehicle surfaced on November 3rd, over two years after Estremador whent missing. It had been purchased from a scrap yard in Trelew and was undergoing modifications for diving competitions, including the removal of seats and partial dismantling. Authorities have confirmed the current owner acquired the vehicle in good faith, unaware of its potential link to the case.
A forensic examination utilizing Luminol reagent revealed positive results in several areas of the vehicle’s roof panel. These panels have been removed and sent to CENPAT for analysis to determine if the substance is human blood and, if so, weather it matches the genetic profile of Eber Estremador.
Prosecutor Vottero emphasized the significance of this discovery, stating the vehicle is central to the investigation as it is the last known location where Estremador was seen alive. “Given this element that was incorporated into the case…we will request an extension of the investigation period to have the expert results, essential to advance the case,” she stated.
The investigation was bolstered by a key found during a november raid on the home of one of the accused, identified as Carreño. Subsequent testing confirmed the key belonged to the recovered vehicle.
The accused individual remains under coercive measures for an additional three months while investigators await the results of the forensic analysis, hoping they will provide crucial information regarding Estremador’s fate.
