Paul George‌ Returns to Action, ‌76ers Hold Off clippers in Close Contest

Philadelphia, PA – Paul George made his season debut Monday night, contributing in⁣ a 121-119 victory over ⁤the Los Angeles Clippers, though he admitted to feeling “rusty” in his return. After nearly a year sidelined‌ due to‍ a right knee injury, George scored seven points, making his first shot from‌ the floor.

“Great, man,” George said with a smile. “I watched it and there were so many emotions inside. There ‌was zero emotions outside… honestly. ⁤I was just ⁤trying to focus on just the game, ⁢staying locked in and engaged, but it felt great to ‌make the first shot.”
