Camellia Trio Concert Details: Dates, Time, Venue & Program

Camellia Trio to Perform⁤ December Concert⁣ in Ueda City

UEDA, JAPAN – The Camellia Trio will present a classical music program December ‌2nd at the Uenogaoka Community Center Large Hall in Ueda City, offering an accessible evening of chamber music to the community. The​ performance features a diverse selection of works,from Elgar’s “Greetings of Love” to ​Brahms‘ ‌Piano‍ Trio No. 1, and is designed to appeal ⁤to both seasoned concertgoers and those new to classical music.

This concert provides a unique cultural opportunity for residents ⁣of Ueda City and the surrounding​ Toyodon area. With all seating unreserved and tickets available only ​on the day of the event, the performance aims to lower barriers to access and foster a wider recognition for live music. The event ⁣is sponsored by ueda City⁣ and supported by the Ueda City Board of Education,underscoring the local government’s commitment to arts and ⁣culture.

The program ‌will include Elgar’s “Greetings of Love,”⁢ Saint-Saëns’ “Swan,” Dinik’s “Hibari,” Chopin‘s “Little Dog Waltz,” the second movement of Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor, Op.‌ 67, and⁣ the ⁢first movement of Brahms’ piano Trio No. 1 ⁣in B major, Op. 8. The track list is subject⁤ to change.

The concert is scheduled for December 2, 2025, beginning at 7:00 PM,​ with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Admission‌ is 500 yen, and is free for high school students and younger. Same-day tickets will be sold at the venue starting at 6:30 PM; advance ticket sales are not available. Preschool children are ​welcome to attend.

Violinist‌ Yui Himoto ‌will ⁢perform on⁣ a Matteo Goffriller violin crafted in 1710, generously loaned from the Munetsugu‌ Collection.

The event is sponsored by Ueda city (Ueda City ‌Cultural Arts center) and receives subsidy support.
