Medole Residents to Seek New GP as Dr. Angelicola Departs
MEDOLE, ITALY – Residents of Medole relying on dr. Fabrizio Michele Angelicola for primary care will need to find a new physician, as he will conclude his temporary assignment on November 28, 2025. The ASST Mantova health authority announced the change, effective December 1, 2025.
This transition impacts patients currently under Dr. Angelicola’s care, requiring them to either select a new general practitioner within the Castiglione delle Stiviere area or opt for interim coverage. While the ASST has appointed Dr. Alice Murgioni to provide immediate continuity of care at the same clinic, patients retain the right to choose a different physician. The change underscores the ongoing dynamics within Italy’s public healthcare system, where temporary assignments and physician transitions necessitate proactive patient engagement in managing their healthcare needs.
