BetPlay League Semifinals Kick Off This Week with Eight Teams Competing for Championship Spot
BOGOTÁ, colombia – The semifinals of the BetPlay League begin November 18th, pitting eight teams against each othre in a quest for a place in the final. This marks a historic moment for Fortaleza, who qualify for this stage of the tournament for the first time in their history.
The teams are divided into two quadrangular groups. Group A features Atlético Nacional, Independiente Medellín, Junior, and América de Cali, while Group B includes Deportes Tolima, Atlético Bucaramanga, Fortaleza, and Independiente Santa Fe.
Independiente Medellín currently leads all teams in points for 2025, while América de Cali and Junior boast some of the most expensive squads in the league. Defending champion Independiente Santa Fe enters the semifinals with standout player Harold Santiago Mosquera.
