On Tuesday, November 18th, at 8:30 p.m., Nathanaël Wallenhorst will present his book, 2049, what the climate will do to Europe (Threshold).Wallenhorst’s work ⁢utilizes extensive data analysis to project the biophysical, climatic, ⁣and societal impacts facing Europe⁣ in the coming decades. The event promises a concrete exploration of ⁤how daily life​ – from⁢ work to relationships -⁢ may be reshaped by a changing climate, offering a​ timely discussion as global temperatures continue to rise and ⁤concerns about environmental sustainability intensify.

Then, on Thursday, November 20th, at⁣ 6 p.m., historian Célia Keren will discuss her ‍book, ⁤ The ⁤cause of‌ children (Anamosa), ⁢which​ details the story of nearly⁣ 15,000 Spanish Republican​ children evacuated to France during the Spanish Civil War. These children, aged between five and fifteen, were placed with French host families or in specialized children’s homes.
