Piedmont augusta Hospital is seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to impact patient lives while enjoying a supportive work habitat focused on employee well-being and professional growth.
as an Exercise Physiologist,you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized cardiac rehabilitation treatment plans,and providing comprehensive education to patients and their families. You will utilize your expertise to perform patient assessments, supervise exercise sessions, and deliver emergency medical care according to established protocols for a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatric cardiac patients.
Key Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance, or Adult Health & fitness with a concentration in cardiac health is required. A Master’s degree in one of these fields is preferred.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
* Certifications: current ACLS and BLS certifications are required and must be completed within 90 days of employment.
