Alzheimer Café⁣ Offers Support ⁤Following Dementia Diagnosis – november 25

VALKENSWAARD/WAALRE – Individuals and‌ families grappling with ‌a ‍recent dementia diagnosis are invited to a supportive evening at the Alzheimer Café on November 25. The event will feature expert insights from clinical ⁢geriatrician mrs. ‍E. ⁣Scheepers and physician assistant ⁣Mr. M. van der Velden of the Catharina Hospital, addressing​ common questions ‌and concerns ⁢surrounding ‍a diagnosis.

A dementia diagnosis profoundly impacts both those living with the condition and their loved ones, ‍raising questions about ‍how ‍to navigate ⁤the changes ahead, understand what to expect, and ensure ⁢respectful care. The Alzheimer Café provides a​ safe⁤ and ⁢informal ⁢environment ⁢to explore ​these challenges⁢ and connect with others facing similar circumstances.The speakers will aim to​ address as‍ many of these ‌questions​ as ‌possible, offering‌ professional guidance and support.

The ‌Alzheimer ⁣café will be held in the ⁣café hall De Dommelstroom, ‌located at Bergstraat 32⁤ in Dommelen. Doors open ⁣at 7:00⁣ PM, with the program running‍ from 7:30 PM to approximately 9:00 PM. Admission is free.
