AUSTIN, TX – Arch Manning declined to acknowledge the dominant performance of the Georgia Bulldogs‘ defense following Texas‘ 38-10 loss on Saturday, despite being visibly pressured and limited throughout the game.
Georgia’s defensive unit held Texas to 10 points, a meaningful achievement considering six of the Bulldogs’ previous SEC opponents scored a touchdown on their opening drive.Texas’s only touchdown drive followed a Gunner Stockton interception that provided favorable field position. The Bulldogs also recorded three sacks of Manning and forced at least one interception.
While acknowledging the defensive success, observers noted Manning’s reluctance to credit Georgia’s performance post-game. Despite the lack of public acknowledgement from the Texas quarterback, the Bulldogs appear confident in their own assessment of the game, recognizing the challenges they presented to manning and the Longhorns’ offence.
