Men’s Basketball Powers Past Bethune-Cookman, 91-82

Dayton men’s basketball extended its winning streak to 4-0 wiht a hard-fought 91-82 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Monday night at‍ the UD Arena. The Flyers overcame a resolute Wildcat squad,fueled by ‌a balanced scoring attack and a raucous home crowd.

The win marks the⁤ 80th consecutive sellout at ⁢UD ‌Arena, continuing ‌a remarkable run of fan support for the program. Dayton ‌also improved to 29 straight non-conference home wins, solidifying its dominance within⁢ the confines of its ⁢home court. ‌This victory is crucial as it provides momentum heading into a challenging ​stretch of games, including a Wednesday road matchup against Marquette.

DaRon Holmes II⁣ led‍ the Flyers with 22 points, while Enoch Cheatham added 16 and Na’eem Harris contributed 14. Bethune-Cookman was paced by ‌Denzel Nicholson with 21 points.

Dayton will now prepare to face ​marquette on Wednesday, Nov.19 at 7:30 ​p.m. ET.
