Desta Marie Beeder Eliminated from “Shall We Dance” Following Saturday’s Performances
Oslo, Norway – Desta Marie Beeder and her professional partner, Ole Thomas Hansen, were eliminated from TV2’s “Shall We Dance” during Saturday’s broadcast. The departure follows the combined scores from two Saturdays of competition, leaving the remaining couples vying for the coveted trophy.
The elimination comes amidst some contestant criticism regarding the show’s format. Carina Dahl voiced concerns about a ”match night” setup, feeling it unnecessarily pitted competitors against one another, a sentiment echoed by fellow dancer Tale Torjussen. Despite the controversy, the competition remains fierce.
Currently,Viggo Venn and Rikke Lund lead the remaining contestants with a total of 122 points. Danby Choi and Norunn Ringvoll are close behind with 120 points, while Carina dahl and Ole Thomas Hansen trail with 114 points. Bennetsen and ida Amy Sund also breathed a sigh of relief after avoiding elimination.
Following her first dance, dahl shared her reservations with Nettavisen, stating, “I think it’s a bit bad of the production to pit us against each other.” Torjussen concurred with this assessment.
