Iwona Pavlović, a judge on “Dancing with the Stars,” addressed accusations that she was responsible for the end of her husband Wojciech Oświęcimski’s first marriage during a recent interview with Joanna Racewicz in Party magazine. Pavlović, who married Oświęcimski in 2009, firmly denied being the cause of the split, stating, “I didn’t really break anything. It was already broken, because in my opinion, and I will always say this, if the relationship is good, no one will enter into it. If there’s something wrong, there’s a gap and someone can get in.” She added, “I hope that there is no gap in my relationship with Wojtek.”
The couple has been together for 20 years, and Pavlović previously described their relationship as harmonious, telling Vivy magazine they “complement each other perfectly.”
Pavlović also recounted the moment she fell in love with Oświęcimski, describing being captivated by his voice. “I just fell in love with the voice of an 18-year-old, and I lost my mind,” she confessed. “I laugh, but when someone loves you, you don’t think about it… For me it was like a blow. There was something so amazing about that voice, and then he came and when I saw him, it was just… Of course my mind was telling me: stand up, woman, you have a husband. But it was stronger than me. Apparently it was supposed to be like that, as we’ve been together for 20 years, so there’s something going on.”
