Seismic Dance Event Returns to Austin‘s Concourse Project This Weekend
AUSTIN,TX – the Seismic Dance Event is set to electrify Austin’s Concourse Project November 14,15,and 16,bringing three days of house and techno to the city. The independently-run festival, now in its eighth iteration, promises a diverse lineup and immersive experience for electronic music fans.
Seismic has become a cornerstone of Austin’s underground dance music scene, offering a platform for both established legends and rising stars. This year’s event is particularly meaningful as it marks the return of the Frequency stage, alongside the indoor Volcano and outdoor Tsunami stages, each boasting unique aesthetics and programming. The festival’s continued success underscores the growing demand for independent electronic music events and the vital role they play in fostering a vibrant cultural landscape.
Festival co-founders, Parsons and Gray, highlighted key artists attendees shouldn’t miss. Parsons emphatically stated, “All of them,” but singled out Underworld as “legends who paved the way for all of us.” Gray recommended Berlin-based techno DJ and producer Estella Boersma and Italian artist Giorgia Angiuli, a classically trained composer who incorporates modified children’s toys into her performances. “You can’t miss that,” gray said.
Beyond the music, Seismic will feature a vendor market, concession areas, art exhibits, and wellness experiences including yoga and sound healing. Organizers have also added a pair of hidden “bonus areas” for attendees to discover.
“We’re independently run, and we are music fans first,” Parsons explained. “We are you!” Gray added, “We are home-grown! We pour our hearts and soul into this, and it takes moving mountains to make it happen. Support for independent promoters…is super significant.”
