Royal Family LIVE: Prince Andrew Faces New Humiliation at Windsor Castle
Prince Andrew has reportedly experienced a visible shift in treatment during his first visit to Windsor Castle since King Charles removed his royal titles and honours. The former Duke of York lost his princely title, dukedom, and HRH style following allegations related to his association with convicted sex offender jeffrey Epstein.
Upon returning to Windsor, Andrew found that the customary bows and salutes from Palace staff, previously automatic throughout his life, were no longer offered. According to the Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle, guards did not salute the former prince, and some staff members reportedly addressed him as ”Mr. Mountbatten Windsor” instead of “Your Royal Highness.”
Further, a long-held privilege - having meals delivered from the Castle kitchens, described as a “Royal Deliveroo” – has also been withdrawn.
The changes underscore the extent of Andrew’s fall from grace within the Royal Family and the clear signals of a new era under King Charles.
