Intuit today launched an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to streamline operations and accelerate growth for UK businesses. The new offering integrates a “virtual team” of AI agents capable of handling tasks ranging from invoicing and cash flow management to tax preparation and customer support.
The platform arrives as UK businesses grapple with economic headwinds and increasing pressure to improve efficiency. Intuit cites research indicating that small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the UK spend significant time on administrative tasks, diverting resources from core growth activities. The company aims to alleviate this burden by automating key processes, freeing up business owners and their teams to focus on strategic initiatives.the AI agents within the platform leverage Intuit’s deep expertise in financial management, built upon the foundation of QuickBooks and Mailchimp. These agents are designed to learn from business data, providing personalized insights and recommendations. Specific capabilities include automated invoice creation and sending, real-time cash flow forecasting, and proactive identification of potential tax savings.
“We’re empowering businesses to work smarter, not harder,” said David McCormack, VP and General manager, Intuit UK. “By combining the power of AI with our trusted financial tools, we’re giving UK businesses the support they need to thrive in today’s dynamic environment.”
The platform is available immediately to QuickBooks and Mailchimp users in the UK,with additional features and integrations planned for future release. Intuit anticipates the AI-driven tools will be especially valuable for sole traders and small businesses lacking dedicated administrative staff.
