DC and Marvel Unite as The Flash Teams Up with the Fantastic Four in digital-First Crossover
For the first time, the speedster known as The Flash will race alongside the heroes of Marvel’s First Family in DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four, a new digital-first comic available exclusively on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE. penned by Jeremy Adams with art by Adrián gutiérrez and colors by Romulo Fajardo Jr., the unexpected team-up marks a historic collaboration between the two comic publishing giants.
The six-issue series throws The Flash into the orbit of the Fantastic Four as they investigate a mysterious energy signature-one that threatens both the DC and Marvel universes. Writer Jeremy Adams expressed his enthusiasm for the dynamic between the heroes, noting Barry Allen’s analytical approach contrasts with other speedsters like Wally West. “He looks at things so differently, logically, critically. A detective with superpowers! So, it’s fun to see how he approaches the situation with such a large scientific mind,” Adams said. He also praised artist Adrián Gutiérrez, stating he “made it SOOOOO much better than I could imagine” from the initial scripts. The crossover allows Adams to “dig through the toybox” and play with a wealth of iconic characters, offering a unique experience for fans of both universes. DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four #1 is available now on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE.
