The Prairie Wolves forced a remarkable 22 turnovers, capitalizing on opponent miscues to build a lead and ultimately control the contest.

The Prairie Wolves’ defense set the tone early, forcing seven turnovers in the first quarter to disrupt Saint Mary’s rhythm. After a back-and-forth second quarter, Rhyanne Mackling’s clutch free throws sent Nebraska Wesleyan into halftime with a narrow 25-23 advantage.
The third quarter saw the Prairie Wolves further tighten their grip on the game, forcing five more turnovers. Peyton Tritz provided a steadying offensive presence, scoring timely baskets and drawing fouls, helping NWU take a 43-40 lead into the final frame.
Nebraska Wesleyan sealed the victory with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring the Flames 23-12. Brynn Sebek knocked down her second three-pointer of the night and contributed three free throws as NWU stretched its lead to as many as 15 points.
Brynn Sebek and Peyton Tritz led the Prairie Wolves in scoring with 17 points apiece. Sebek shot 5-of-11 from the field and 5-for-6 at the free-throw line,adding two steals.Tritz added six rebounds and three assists to her scoring total.Carney Black recorded her first double-double of the season, contributing 14 points and 10 rebounds, along with three steals.
Nebraska Wesleyan (1-1) will travel to Cornell College in Mount Vernon, iowa, on Saturday, November 15, for a 5:00 p.m. matchup.
