Saint Paul, MN - San Jose sharks forward William Eklund will return to the lineup Tuesday night when the team faces the Minnesota Wild, according to a team declaration.Eklund has been sidelined due to an undisclosed injury.
Eklund’s return provides a boost to the Sharks’ forward depth, particularly on the penalty kill, where the team had been prosperous, killing 17 consecutive penalties over their last five games entering Tuesday’s contest. His absence created a roster adjustment, with Shakir Mukhamadullin set to return to the lineup and pair with Erik Orlov.
