BCV Sets Bolivar–Dollar Rate at 228.47 Today, November 7
Caracas – The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) announced today, Friday, November 7, a new official exchange rate of 228.47 bolivars per U.S. dollar. This marks a shift in the benchmark rate used for various economic transactions within the country.
The BCV also published an updated euro exchange rate, rising to 263.29 bolivars. These rates, steadfast as a weighted average of daily banking operations, impact businesses, importers, and individuals relying on official exchange rates for financial planning.Other currencies tracked by the BCV include the Chinese yuan (CNY) at 32.09 bolivars, the Turkish Lira (TRY) at 5.42 bolivars, and the Russian Ruble (RUB) at 2.81 bolivars. The BCV’s publication of these rates aims to provide clarity in Venezuela’s exchange process amid ongoing economic fluctuations.
