Kim Kardashian Responds to Critical Reception of Hulu Series ‘All’s Fair’
Kim Kardashian and her co-stars are leaning into the overwhelmingly negative reviews of their new Hulu legal drama, All’s Fair. Following it’s release, the series has been widely panned by critics, with The Hollywood Reporter‘s Angie Han calling it “brain dead” and criticizing Kardashian’s performance as “stiff and affectless.”
Despite the harsh reception, Kardashian appeared to address the criticism with a now-deleted illustration shared on her social media, depicting the show’s leading ladies stirring a pot labeled “Critic-bunny stew.” The image was also posted by co-stars Glenn Close and Niecy Nash-Betts, who celebrated the show reaching number one among fans despite the critical backlash. The series, created by Ryan Murphy, Joe Baken, and Jon Robin Baitz, follows an all-female law firm specializing in high-profile divorces and also stars Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson.
Fans have also embraced the show’s perceived flaws, with one commenting, “Some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen in my life alongside the most predictable storylines and the most ridiculous styling. I’m obsessed I need 14 seasons.” Nash-Betts acknowledged the fan support, writing on Instagram,”Thank you to all the fans of @allsfaironhulu for making us number 1. The GOAT!”
Kardashian’s foray into acting marks a meaningful shift for the reality television star and businesswoman, and the show’s performance-both critically and with audiences-will likely influence her future career endeavors. the show’s success hinges on whether its viral moments and dedicated fanbase can outweigh the negative critical assessment.
