Battlefield 6 Players Build Their Own Large-Scale Maps Amidst Demand for More Content
REDWOOD SHORES, CA – November 6, 2025 – Faced with a perceived lack of expansive maps in Battlefield 6, dedicated fans are leveraging the game’s battlefield Portal and REDSEC tools to create their own large-scale battlefields. This grassroots effort highlights player demand for the “large sandbox types” that developer DICE has acknowledged are needed.
Reddit users andy_6170 and kurtinthegrind have collaborated to produce “Club House,” a Conquest play area designed for large battles. The map supports up to 64 players and offers options for both bot-filled and botless matches. Game modes include Conquest, Tech Center, and Operation Tech Center, the latter providing a more focused experience within a single building. Creators describe Conquest mode as featuring “vehicles, semi-urban areas ideal for infantry fights, and hills perfect for snipers. It’s also a great map for helicopter combat!”
The initiative comes as DICE continues to address player feedback and expand battlefield 6‘s content. Battlefield lead producer David Sirland recently stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the team is committed to “more of the large sandbox types without a doubt” and will continuously add maps and weapons over time. Sirland also confirmed ongoing efforts to fix issues on existing maps and make necessary improvements.
Recent updates to Battlefield 6 have focused on easing achievement completion and highlighting the necessity of bots for quicker matchmaking, according to Sirland. To date, Battlefield 6 has surpassed 10 million copies sold, but faces potential headwinds with the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on november 14 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
