Pop superstar Alla Pugacheva and her husband, comedian Maxim Galkin, have purchased a villa near Sofia, Bulgaria, for approximately €500,000, according to sources familiar with the transaction. The acquisition marks a meaningful move for the couple amid heightened security concerns following a recent leak of their Cypriot property address.
The newly acquired property, spanning roughly 229 square meters,is located in a prestigious residential area on the outskirts of Sofia,at the foot of Vitosha mountain. This purchase isn’t Pugacheva’s first investment in Bulgarian real estate; she previously acquired a summer home near Varna. The decision to invest in Bulgaria appears to be a proactive step toward securing a more private and secure residence, triggered by the public disclosure of their Limassol home address.
The transaction was completed confidentially through intermediaries, with the couple selecting the property based on architectural plans without a prior in-person viewing. They currently reside in Cyprus and anticipate visiting their new Bulgarian residence no sooner than March 2026. The villa is situated within a gated community, further enhancing its seclusion.
