Netflix Sets March 10, 2026 Release for One Piece Season 2, adds New Crew Members
Los Gatos, CA – Netflix has announced the second season of its live-action One Piece adaptation will premiere on March 10, 2026. the series will continue the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they navigate the Grand Line in pursuit of the legendary One Piece treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger. Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, each inspired by classic cinematic titles, including Good Whale Hunting and Big Trouble in little Garden.
The first season followed Luffy, who gained rubber-like abilities after consuming a Devil Fruit, as he assembled his initial crew. Season 2 will expand the Straw Hat Pirates with the addition of Nico Robin, portrayed by Lera Abova, a former vice president of the Baroque Works criminal association and an archaeologist. Joining her is Tony Tony Chopper, the crew’s doctor and an anthropomorphic reindeer, brought to life by Mikaela Hoover using CGI.
Returning cast members include Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Jacob Romero as Usopp. New additions also feature David Dastmalchian as Mr.3, Camrus Johnson as Mr.5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, and Daniel Lasker as Mr.9.
The upcoming season will see Luffy and his crew journey to Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little garden, and Drum Island as they continue their quest. As creator Eiichirō Oda stated,”The adventures of Iñaki and the Straw Hats will continue! In the future,I realy think the Straw Hats will need a good doctor. We’ll see!”
