Black Ops 7 Confirmed: PC Specs, Preloading Details, and Handheld Support Revealed
Los Angeles, CA – June 12, 2024 – Activision has officially confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, with a newly released PC trailer showcasing enhanced graphics and detailing system requirements. Preloading for PC players begins November 7, 2025, ahead of the game’s full launch on November 14, 2025. In a surprise proclamation, Activision also confirmed limited handheld support, allowing players to experience a portion of the campaign and Zombies mode on compatible devices.
The confirmation of Black Ops 7 marks a significant moment for the franchise,promising to build upon the success of Black Ops 6 with cutting-edge technology and expanded accessibility. The game’s availability on handheld systems, while limited in scope, broadens the Call of Duty player base and caters to a growing demand for on-the-go gaming. Preordering now unlocks immediate access to the Reznov Challenge Pack and Guild Override Weapon Camo for use in Call of Duty: Warzone™ and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Activision has released the following minimum and recommended PC specifications:
* Minimum: Intel Core i5-8600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580, 12GB RAM
* Recommended: Intel Core i7-12700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, 16GB RAM
The trailer highlights significant graphical improvements, including ray tracing and advanced lighting effects. Activision has not yet disclosed the game’s storage requirements,but recommends an SSD for optimal performance.
Preorder Bonuses & Editions:
Players who preorder Black Ops 7 will receive the Reznov Challenge Pack and Guild Override Weapon Camo, instantly usable in Warzone and Black Ops 6. The Vault Edition includes these bonuses, alongside the Operator Collection, Mastercraft Weapon Collection, Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies, a Permanent Unlock Token, and one season of BlackCell.
Handheld Support Details:
While full console parity isn’t available, Black ops 7 will feature a dedicated handheld mode offering access to the single-player campaign and a selection of Zombies maps.
