Kike Hernández Joins Carlos Beltrán in MLB Postseason⁣ Home Run Record

ARLINGTON, TX – October 30, 2025 – Los Angeles Dodgers utility player Kike Hernández tied Puerto Rican baseball legend carlos Beltrán for a prominent position on ‌the MLB postseason home run list wiht his 16th career October home​ run ​during Tuesday’s⁤ World Series game.

Hernández’s milestone places him alongside ​Beltrán and teammate Freddie Freeman among the top 20 home run ​hitters in postseason play. He trails only carlos Correa (18) and Bernie Williams (22) among‌ Puerto Rican players,with George ​Springer (whose mother ‌is puerto Rican) holding 23 postseason home runs. The all-time leader remains Dominican slugger Manny Ramírez with 29.

Beyond his offensive achievement,Hernández reached another career milestone on Tuesday,appearing in his 100th postseason game⁢ – the fourth of this World Series – moving him into ninth place for career postseason games played.
