HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA ‌-⁣ The‍ Randolph-Macon⁤ College Yellow⁣ Jackets men’s soccer ‌team concluded its regular season​ with a 3-1⁤ loss​ to‍ Hampden-Sydney ‍College⁤ on Saturday. Despite an early goal from Grayson Woods, the yellow Jackets were unable to overcome a penalty kick​ and two second-half goals from the‍ Tigers. The loss concludes the‌ regular season for Randolph-Macon, who ‌now await their‍ opponent and details for the upcoming ODAC quarterfinal match.

the Yellow‌ Jackets struck first in the⁢ 17th minute when⁣ Woods⁣ capitalized on a corner kick ‍from ‌Wiley Eubank. Woods’ initial shot was ‍saved by HSC goalkeeper Stig Larson, but he recovered the rebound and scored,⁢ giving Randolph-Macon a 1-0‍ lead. However, the⁤ Tigers responded in ⁣the ‍26th minute with a penalty kick ⁢converted ‍by Charlie Letson, tying the game at 1-1.
