Marcela Laiferová Celebrates 80th Birthday with New Love,Book Release
Beloved Slovak singer Marcela Laiferová is marking her 80th birthday with a fresh chapter in her life – a new romance and the release of a revealing biographical book,Proud Love. the singer is preparing a celebratory concert featuring a lineup of prominent Slovak musicians and colleagues.
Laiferová’s milestone comes alongside significant personal changes. She recently sold her home and has found new companionship, embracing a revitalized outlook. The upcoming concert and book launch offer fans a unique glimpse into the life and career of a Slovak cultural icon, promising both nostalgia and intimate revelations.
The birthday concert will showcase performances by Peter Lipa, Beata Dubasová, Nela Pocisková, Peter Stašák, Marián Čekovský, samuel Tomeček, Ladislav Briestenský, Ján berky Mrenica with his band, the vocal Trio Trend, and the orchestra led by conductor Pavel Zajaček.
Laiferová describes her forthcoming biography as unflinchingly honest. “I’m wholly naked in it.So much so that I might be ashamed to walk down the street. It’s going to be all about me. Let me tell you, my life is for a movie script,” she stated. The book will also feature rare photographs, including images of Laiferová with her son from the 1980s.
