Miss Universe Puerto Rico Contestant jennifer Colón Apologizes for Inappropriate Comments
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Jennifer Colón, a member of the “Top 12” finalists for Miss Universe 2024, has issued a public apology for comments made during a recent podcast appearance that she acknowledges were inappropriate and caused discomfort.
“I recognize that some of my comments were inappropriate and caused discomfort. I regret that I was not more careful with my words,” colón, 37, stated. She added that she failed to meet a standard of respectful dialog and takes full obligation for her actions.
Colón expressed gratitude for constructive criticism that will help her grow and committed to learning from the experience. She specifically apologized to her “Miss Universe puerto rico family who always helped and took care of me,” stating her commitment to rebuilding trust and respect through humility.
The former queen concluded her statement with ”sincere regret and desire to improve.”
