Foo Fighters Launch 2026 Stadium Tour, Debut New Single “Asking for a Friend”
Rock icons Foo Fighters have announced a massive 2026 stadium tour, accompanied by the release of their latest single, “Asking for a Friend.” The tour will kick off in Monterrey, Mexico, on November 12, 2026, and extend across North America into September 2026, marking a significant return to extensive live performances following a period of profound change for the band.
The announcement arrives as foo fighters continue to navigate life after the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2023.This tour represents not only a continuation of their legacy but also a powerful statement of resilience and a commitment to their devoted fanbase. The band’s ability to move forward while honoring Hawkins’ memory remains central to their narrative, and this tour is expected to be a cathartic experience for both the band and their audience.
The 2026 stadium run includes stops at iconic venues such as Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 4, 2026, Ford Field in Detroit on August 6, 2026, and Soldier Field in Chicago on August 8, 2026. Further dates include performances in Cleveland, philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C., Fargo, Regina, Edmonton, Vancouver, and a final show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on September 26, 2026.
A variety of supporting acts will join Foo Fighters on select dates. Queens of the Stone Age will open for the band in Monterrey, Mexico, and throughout the initial leg of the North american tour. Jehnny Beth will support the November 14, 2026, Mexico City show, while Mannequin Pussy is slated to join for several dates, indicated with a “+” symbol. gouge Away will open for the Vancouver show, marked with an “@” symbol.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning August 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.
