OMNI⁢ Otters Swim Club Announces Structured Training Groups for All⁤ Levels

The OMNI Otters⁣ Swim Club is offering‌ a comprehensive range of training ​groups designed to nurture swimmers of every ⁤age and ability.⁤ From introductory programs to elite-level coaching, the club ⁣aims to maximize each athlete’s potential through⁢ age-specific training and individualized⁢ growth. The OMNI Otters programme ‍is​ structured to provide a clear⁣ pathway​ for progression,⁢ ensuring swimmers are⁢ appropriately challenged as‌ their skills⁤ advance.The club’s⁣ tiered ‍system begins with⁢ the Rookies group,‌ an entry-level program for those able to⁢ swim ⁣50 yards unassisted. Rookies participate​ in three one-hour​ practices weekly,focusing on foundational stroke technique in‌ butterfly,backstroke,breaststroke,freestyle,and the Individual Medley.

Swimmers demonstrating proficiency in all⁤ four ​strokes transition to the Age ⁢group program.⁢ Age​ Group ‍swimmers train three times per week for 1.5‌ hours, refining their technique ​and‌ building endurance across all competitive strokes and the Individual Medley.

Building upon the ‍Age Group foundation, Pre-Senior swimmers experience‌ increased training intensity with four practices per week. These practices are 1.5 hours long during the Winter ⁣season and extend to 2 hours during the Summer season,with‍ swimmers ‍encouraged to attend all four weekly sessions.

The club’s most experienced athletes comprise​ the Senior group. Senior swimmers commit to a rigorous schedule of five practices per week,each lasting 1.5 hours in the Winter and 2 hours in the Summer. During the Summer ‍months, Seniors have the⁤ option to attend a second daily 2-hour practice, maximizing their training volume and competitive preparation.
