SNAP Quebec Seeks Events Coordinator to Drive Environmental Mobilization
Montreal, QC – SNAP Quebec, a leading environmental non-profit, is actively recruiting an Events Coordinator to manage and execute its mobilization and awareness initiatives. The full-time, two-year position, based in Montreal’s Plateau district, offers a salary range of $57,000 to $72,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The request deadline is November 21, 2025, with a start date anticipated in February 2026.
The Events Coordinator will report to the General director and work closely with the Director of Communications, taking full obligation for the logistical and operational aspects of SNAP Quebec’s events. Key responsibilities include project and event coordination - encompassing growth, communication, and logistics – alongside grant writing, partner outreach, and support for fundraising campaigns.
Candidates must possess a second-cycle university degree in marketing, communication, or events, coupled with three to five years of direct experience in event organization or mobilization. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to unexpected challenges.Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required,with a functional level of English also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suites (Photoshop, InDesign) is also expected.
While not required, familiarity with the environmental sector, experience in a non-profit context, and expertise in social media platforms (Meta Business Suite, youtube Studio, Bluesky, LinkedIn) and audiovisual production are considered advantages.
